FALLS / DANGER

I mentioned in my first post how being fit can help you recover from surgery, illness and falls, etc. When you reach sixty plus your chances of falling increase because of loss of leg strength and balance. A bad fall can precipitate a downward spiral. I almost fell late last night tripping over a running shoe! A touch of irony? My leg strength and balance enabled me to recover. I highly recommend simple balancing exercises and leg strength exercises.
